                SIMPLE  PAST







AFFIRMATIVE IN THE PAST SIMPLE Sentences:

The affirmative sentences in the simple past is formed by adding
-ED to the root of the regular verb. Such form is valid for
all people. 

Subject + verb in past + accessories

- I Walked to town.
- They Jumped on the bed

NEGATIVE IN THE PAST SIMPLE Sentences :

To construct the negative form of simple past use did + not +
root of the verb for all persons.

Subject + did + not + verb root + accessories

- I did not go to school yesterday.
- I did not do my homework last night.
